The Summer Eating Guide

A couple of weeks ago the theme for my Weight Watchers meeting was making our summer eating guide. It was a great discussion on how we are going to stay on plan with all the summer parties going on. Our leader gave us scenarios and we were asked to talk through way for us to stay on track. Some member were really great at coming up with ways to stay on track.



When I originally though about how my summer was going to be I freaked out a little. Then I decided to really think about why I was getting so worked up over this. It was silly honestly. Everything is going to be great. I won't have the same distractions of food as I would at work. I am able to clean out my pantry and fridge, stocking up healthy foods.

Something I hope to try is cooking dinner more often. I also want to use my crockpot that I have had for years. This will allow me to really experiment with what I like and what works for my family.

After thinking about the possibilities that summer holds I am getting stoked!
